1. Participants
Open to professionals from all over the world, professionals in architecture and interior design with an official degree can participate. You can participate both individually and as a team, studio or company.
2. Theme
Versatility in modern hotel design is more important than ever. Multipurpose hotel suite rooms represent the evolution of spaces, adapting to the diverse needs of contemporary travelers. These multifunctional spaces allow a room to be transformed into a place for rest, work or meetings, without losing the luxury and comfort that characterizes a high-end hotel.
Today, tourism demands greater flexibility, seeking spaces that offer both the comfort of a luxury hotel and the functionality necessary to meet the demands of business travelers, tourists and other types of guests. INTERCIDEC proposes, for this edition, the challenge of designing a multipurpose hotel suite room. A space that combines innovative design, adaptability and comfort, offering a personalized experience for guests without compromising aesthetics or exclusivity. Design and flexibility will be the pillars of this edition.

Participants will be able to design their project within an agreed area or space of 25-30 m², specified in the following plans. The design must be adjusted to the dimensions and characteristics of this space. The distribution and use of the area must reflect a functional, adaptable and luxurious solution, in line with the theme of the 2025 edition: ‘Hotel Room, Multipurpose Suite’. The objective is to create a versatile and high-end environment, which maximizes the use of space without compromising comfort or aesthetics.
3. Presentation of the project
Registration form filled out with the participant’s details. Included at the end of the rules or in the following document.
Copy of the ID or passport and CIF in the case of participating as a company.
Professional accreditation Architect, Interior Designer, qualification.
Participants will sign a responsible declaration available here.
With a maximum length of 20 bound pages. The minimum contents of the report will be the following:
3.5.1. Conceptual and explanatory report: It must contain a description of the project idea, the aspects that give it originality, its differentiated value, the type of environment, target audience… It is important to highlight the innovative components, whether at a conceptual, formal, functional, material and emotional level.
3.5.2. Graphic representation: Sketches and dimensioned plans of the project (parts and assembly), indicating the technical details of the project. 3D rendering.
3.5.3. Other notable aspects: The materials, production processes, integrated technologies, installation, environmental values or other conditions such as transport or assembly must be specified, if these are an important variable in the project.
That is, that these can increase the value of the proposal or provide data that contribute to improving its evaluation.
* Remember that the elements that make up the project presentation must be anonymous, only the NAME OF THE PROJECT must appear.
Display panel: A2 size vertical rigid support (420 x 594 mm) indicating:
– Title of the project
– Summary of the conceptual / explanatory report.
– Idea and value of the proposal.
– Images or 3D representations of the scenario (3D rendering).
* Remember that these elements of the project must be anonymous, only the NAME OF THE PROJECT must appear.
A PENDRIVE, CD or DVD with the digital contents of the project report and the display panel (formats, texts and images) must also be attached to the physical presentation.
4. Deadline for submission
The deadline for submitting projects ends on 08/10/2025. By entering the Award, the authors accept these rules and undertake not to withdraw the work once submitted.
The project must be sent in physical and digital format.
Printed format, a copy must be sent by post indicating on the envelope “10th InterCIDEC International Award 2025” and will be addressed to: Poeta Francisco Antonio Jiménez Nº33, Polígono Industrial “Urbayecla II” P.O. Box 30510 Yecla, Murcia, Spain.

Each of the works presented will be assigned a registration number in strict order of receipt, provided that they are presented within the admission period.
5. Jury
The winners will be chosen by an independent jury made up of prestigious professionals related to architecture, interior design, decoration and design, media, Official Colleges of Architects and Interior Designers, and hotel companies, who will assess the conceptual proposal, innovation, environmental value and accessibility. Its composition will not be made public until days before the award is granted, and its decision will be final.
The jury meeting to evaluate the projects and choose the winners will take place on 16/10/2025 online.
The projects will be evaluated by the Jury under the following criteria:
5.2.1. Conceptual proposal. Detection of emerging needs, such as connectivity, solutions that solve specific problems, environmental improvements, among others.
5.2.2. Degree of innovation (conceptual, formal, compositional, materials, technological, etc.).
5.2.3. Aesthetic value (harmony, perception, composition, distribution…).
5.2.4. Accessibility for people with disabilities (not only as a way of complying with regulations, but in a way that the facilities are practical and useful).
5.2.5. The use of our 2D and 3D products within the projects will be positively valued, as well as the integration of products from the sponsors of the competition. Participants can download our products from the following link. To do so, they must register in our Professional Area.

5.2.6. Environmental criteria in the selection of products. Other aspects that increase the value of the proposal, such as more efficient production processes, easy installation and maintenance, etc.
The decision will be announced through the Beltá Frajumar website and its social networks during the month of November 2025.
The winner should not be communicated until it is officially announced by Beltá Frajumar at the awards ceremony.
In addition, press releases will be issued on the results of the Award, which will be distributed among the main media specialized in architecture, interior design, contract and furniture (both in print, radio, television and, of course, social networks and blogs).
The awards ceremony will take place in Yecla on 30/10/2025.
6. Prize
Three financial prizes will be awarded:
- First prize: €5,000 and diploma.
- First runner-up prize: €3,000 and diploma.
- Second runner-up prize: €1,000 and diploma.
* Payment of the financial endowment will be made by bank transfer.
If any of the winning projects finally ends in a contract or sale of the project for installation in a hotel, the author or authors will be entitled to the relevant financial benefits.
The Jury reserves the right to award other runner-up prizes that it considers appropriate. These prizes, without financial content, will consist of a gift and the possibility of opting for corresponding royalties in the event that the project is sold to a hotel client, among other collaborations.
All winners will receive a certificate of accreditation and a gift. In addition, the projects will have the possibility of being presented at international fairs attended by Beltá Frajumar. Header (h2)
7. Legal properties
7.1.1. The contestants declare that the works submitted to this competition are the result of their own creation, assuming responsibility otherwise.
7.1.2. Although Beltá Frajumar creates expert juries, it is completely impossible to know all the existing interior design projects, so it does not assume any responsibility in the event that the awarded projects are replicas of others already existing.
7.1.3. The contestants accept that the Jury will have the power to revoke the award if, within one year from its decision, duly motivated claims or complaints are presented that, in the opinion of the Jury, allow the award-winning project to be rejected, in which case the contestant will be obliged to return the prize, within one month from the final resolution issued by the Jury.
7.1.4. The projects not selected will be available for the contestants to be collected at the Beltá Frajumar facilities until December 31 of the same year of the contest. After this period, without being requested, it is understood that the contestant renounces the project and, therefore, the documentation may be destroyed.
Beltá Frajumar is not responsible for the veracity of the data provided by the participants. Sponsors may not submit projects or opt for the prize. Participation in this competition implies acceptance of the rules and the decision of the Jury. Late registrations will not be accepted under any circumstances. Participants agree to take part in any photograph, interview, film or any similar promotional activity related to this competition. In particular, the use of the participant’s name, biography and image (photos, films, etc.) will be duly authorized.
Beltá Frajumar is not responsible for the loss of entries, nor for technical errors that may occur when receiving the documents. Any entry that incurs in any of these cases will be rejected. The proof of submission of the entry will not be accepted as proof of delivery, however, Beltá Frajumar will confirm receipt of the projects. If any participant breaches any of these official rules or terms and conditions, he or she will be disqualified and will immediately return to Beltá Frajumar any prize (cash or not) received in this contest. Beltá Frajumar reserves the right to reproduce in publications and magazines any of the products that have been presented and undertakes to always inform the identity of its author. The prizes will be regulated by Spanish law and will be interpreted in accordance with it, so any claim or issue that arises in relation to this contest will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Spain.
