Last Wednesday, May 8, 2019, the fourth edition of the International Contract Environment Design Competition,<\/span> InterCIDEC’19, was kicked off.<\/b>.

In the presentation of the call, held at the company’s facilities, the CEO of Belt\u00e1 & Frajumar, <\/span> Francisco Juan<\/b>, recalled the objective of the competition “which is none other than to offer the market innovative proposals in interior design generated from of research and the demands of hotel users\u201d to respond \u201cto current and future needs.\u201d <\/span>

During the presentation event, we had the participation of authorities and guests. Among them the mayor of Yecla, <\/span>Marcos Ortu\u00f1o<\/b>, who has been \u201cproud of Yecla’s industrial fabric\u201d and for whom the contest \u201ccombines two fundamental aspects: design, a basic pillar to be competitive and reach new markets\u201d and \u201cthe contract channel, a business format that facilitates business cooperation and already makes important trade agreements possible.\u201d For his part, the person in charge of the Business Competitiveness area of \u200b\u200bthe Development Institute of the Region of Murcia (INFO), <\/span> Rafael Mart\u00ednez<\/b> highlighted \u201cthe consolidation of the initiative\u201d and congratulated Belt\u00e1 & Frajumar \u201cfor being pioneers in the contract channel\u201d.<\/span> Said event and press conference concluded with a toast to make this inauguration official, giving way to the exhibition visit.<\/span>

Inauguration and visit to the newly renovated showroom<\/b><\/h2>\n

We have also had the winner, in the professional category, of 2018,<\/span> David Puerta<\/b>, from the<\/span> Viruta Lab studio<\/b>. He has seen the \u201c#sistmaleta\u201d<\/b> atmosphere materialized in the company’s showroom. <\/span> Project for the lobby of a hotel, with which he won the competition last year. \u201cThis type of competition gives new generations of interior designers and architects the option to go out and value our ideas,\u201d he said. The architect <\/span>M\u00f3nica Fullana<\/b>, participant and designer of the renovated showroom, has been able to present and explain this project.<\/span>

The day concluded with a series of training and information conferences on interior design. Companies in the sector such as <\/span>Digital Walls<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>Sonae Arauco<\/b><\/a> have been responsible for these presentations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two categories for the contest: professionals and students<\/b><\/h2>\n

In this fourth edition the chosen theme is the interior design of a <\/span> restaurant<\/b>, of a maximum of 100 square meters, not including kitchen. The competition maintains its two categories, one for architecture, interior design and design professionals, and another for students. <\/span><\/p>\n

InterCIDEC, created in 2016, is also a creative opportunity to generate synergies between companies and participants by offering the opportunity to convert their design projects into real contracts, capable of being manufactured and installed in the new hotels with which Belt\u00e1 & works.
