Today we present an interview with one of the leading furniture designers at a national and international level, Jorge Pensi<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, founder of Jorge PENSI DESIGN Studio.<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n

BF: What inspired you to be a designer?<\/b> JP: I am an architect, architecture gave me the tools to be able to design objects and not just houses.  <\/p>\n

BF: Which product for Belt\u00e1 Frajumar has taken you the most time to design and why?<\/b> JP: Without a doubt Luka, because we had to achieve a timeless image, with easy and solid construction without forgetting comfort.  <\/p>\n

BF: You have worked in companies such as B.Lux, Perobell, Santa & Cole, Cassina and Driade among others. What is your differentiating style?<\/b> JP: I don’t know that, I’m just sure to work hard so that the final product represents me and becomes a timeless element, far from the prevailing ephemeral fashions. \"Luka<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

BF: If you had to say two words to a designer who has just started in the professional world, what would you say?<\/b> JP: Tenacity, courage, respect, modesty and a lot of dedication.  <\/p>\n

BF: What are your sources of inspiration or references when designing something?<\/b> JP: Inspiration appears when an intense bond is created with the client, when we both have the same enthusiasm for creating something unique, personal and original.

BF: Of all your works, which one do you feel most identified with?<\/b> JP: With some that I do not name so that others do not feel slighted. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

BF: In which city in the world do you think the latest design trends will be generated in 2021? <\/b> JP: I don’t think there is any specific place, there are people who create trends with their work and perhaps live in a small town in the mountains. BF: What is the work method for developing a project in your PENSI DESIGN studio team? What idea can’t fail? <\/b> JP: Each collaborator carries out a project, I talk to him or her, we draw and we begin to design, when the project progresses we meet and everyone gives their opinion on the progress of the proposal.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

BF: We can say that there is a philosophy that characterizes your work Jorge, or is it different in each project?<\/b> JP: The absolute need to create something original is always present, which is not a variant of what exists, there must be clear signs of identity, the form must not be banal and I must feel totally identified with the final result. BF: And finally, what would you highlight when working with Belt\u00e1 Frajumar?<\/b> JP: The respectful and affectionate human team of the company.
