The awards ceremony for the international contract environment design competition, InterCIDEC, which this year focused on the design of a \u201ccoliving\u201d space, took place in Cosentino City in Palma de Mallorca.<\/b><\/p>\n

The awards ceremony for the 8th Edition of InterCIDEC Awards<\/strong> took place on November 8 at the Cosentino City Mallorca <\/strong> facilities. The winner of this edition has been the Madrid-born Roberto Ortega<\/strong>, interior designer, with the project \u201cUn espacio para conectar\u201d<\/strong>, which makes direct reference precisely to one of the characteristics of coliving spaces. <\/span><\/p>\n

The first of the second prizes<\/strong> went to the interior design studio Nota Estudio<\/strong>, also from Madrid, with its \u201cCore Home<\/strong>\u201d project; The second prize<\/strong> went to the Strada Interiors<\/strong> studio from Tarragona, with its project \u201cConexi\u00f3n Desconectada\u201d<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The InterCIDEC 2023 jury<\/strong> has been made up of prestigious national and international figures in interior design, architecture, as well as managers of important hotel chains<\/strong>; some of them coming from countries like Peru, Colombia or France<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year’s edition has focused on the design of a \u201ccoliving\u201d space<\/strong>, which is about common spaces, increasingly common in large cities, where people want to live with other people in their professional environment, in order to share knowledge and experiences…<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2023 edition has had a large participation of contestants, both nationally and internationally, with projects from Spain, but also from countries such as France, Portugal, Mexico, Chile, Belgium and Australia.<\/strong> InterCIDEC has become the reference platform for the contract channel where new talents can be discovered and as a showcase for new ideas and proposals for companies in the hotel sector.<\/span><\/p>\n
